Mr. Taholo Kami, Manager of UNDP's SIDSnet and Dr. Ulric Trotz, Project Manager of CPACC RPIU signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 9th June 1999 for collaboration in the implementation of national training workshops to facilitate the use of the Internet and World Wide Web for sustainable development activities. Specifically, CPACC will be responsible for coordination of national training programmes in 10 Caribbean states on behalf of SIDSnet. This training initiative is a part of a wider Japanese funded program for 30 SIDS globally.
