This
section is designed to help the administrator get started in making changes to
the attribute data. It assumes that the administrator can rely on other
reference material for more detailed instructions on how to develop applications
in Microsoft Access. (For example, the Microsoft Press reference: John Viescas
1999. Running Microsoft Access 2000).
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Modifying data in the CRIS
There should be no need for country administrators to make any changes to the front-end database file (ie C:\Program Files\CRIS\CRIS.mdb and C:\Program Files\CRIS\CRIS.mde); all attribute data should be added directly to the back-end database for the particular region (i.e. C:\Program Files\CRIS\<XXXX>\CRIS_<XXXX>.mdb); any ArcView data should be added to the region’s ArcView folder (ie C:\Program Files\CRIS\<XXXX>\AvData). Only users with Access programming skills should attempt to make changes to the front-end database.
