There are two installation versions of the CRIS: one for administrators, the other for all other users. The first (Administrator’s Version) provides the full ability to browse and edit application data, configure reports, and to view and modify the application design. All built-in Access command bars and menu bars are available. The latter (User’s Version) provides the ability to browse the application data and generate reports, and has command bars and menu bars that do not allow the code or application structure to be viewed or modified. Both are designed to work with ArcView, but will run even if it is not installed. The instructions in this Manual assume that the Administrator’s Version is being used.
