Selection Criteria

The criteria used for site selection was:

  • Elevation, topography and susceptibility to sea level rise
  • Existence of human settlements
  • Economic importance including presence of tourism facilities
  • Presence of critical infrastructure
  • Historical and cultural value


    • Site Description

    This region borders the coast from Point Salines in St. George's to Eliot Point in St.George's and includes the major tourism belt and the capital city of St.George's.
